About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tabi ("Tabi," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit tabi.social, join our waitlist, create an account, use the Tabi beta, or otherwise interact with our services.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, profile information, survey responses, feedback, content you submit, and communications with us.

When you sign in with Google or another authentication provider, we may receive basic account information that you authorize the provider to share, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.

We may also collect information about how you use Tabi, including pages viewed, cards saved or shared, interactions, referral information, device and browser information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and diagnostic or security data.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Tabi, authenticate users, personalize the experience, remember saved items and preferences, operate the waitlist, communicate about access and updates, understand usage, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, forms, email, and other operations. These may include Vercel, Supabase, Google, and Formspree. They may process information on our behalf or under their own terms and privacy policies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Tabi, when you direct us to share it, to protect Tabi and its users, to comply with law, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or acquisition.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in those messages. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.

To make a privacy request or request account deletion, email privacy@tabi.social. We may need to verify your request before completing it.

Children

Tabi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as Tabi develops. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice.
